Just thinking

My dad would say, "you were thinking, this is not a good thing". haha! I sit here this morning thinking of my dear friend Natalie. As I listen to her theme song for her two boys that are in Haiti waiting for their new family I can't help but tear up. Those boys are going to be apart of the most amazing family and I am so excited for all of them once the adoption process finally is finished. Natalie and Micah are there now meeting their sons in person as she signs some adoption paperwork. The part that kills me the most is that they have to leave them behind until paperwork is all complete. My heart and prayers go out to them! Natalie, Micah, London, Mickenson, and Ashley I love you and am thinking of you this week!

Life puts us in so many different situations throughout our life and as I look back at my life and how I got to where I am today; I change nothing. I love the things I have learned and am so greatful to my Heavenly Father for the things he has taught me and made me into who I am today. I won't lie, some days suck but if we take the time to learn what we are supposed to it makes life wonderful and amazing! I have the most incredible husband and ya, he is my favorite:)

The other night as Brian and I were saying our nightly prayers Brian said something that really stuck out to me. He thanked our Heavenly Father for letting US be the parents of our child and how we were lucky to get him. It made me smile and think, "yes, we are so lucky" and hopefully we can be the best parents for him and that WE truly are the lucky one's.
