YAY I finally made it to a Christmas blog:) Trying to get all caught up!

Bollinger Christmas party!

So fun, uncle Ted wore a grinch outfit and scared the kids a little but it was so fun to have a great surprise! He passed around all the gifts from the kids to each other.

Something is missing in this picture! Where is Santa????? But don't worry his bag of toys is there:) My dad is such a great sport! James pretty much forced him into that out fit with a big read boy to complete it. Hmmmmm I wonder what santa brought? A pillow maybe!

Ok, so I LOVE having a live Jesus! It was so cute to see the kids interact with Connor and as uncle Steve read the scriptures it was really touching to think of Connor being Jesus and seeing the kids being cute with him and you knew that's how it was when Jesus was born!

Thanksgiving is all about being thankful so it would be impossible to post something and not say what I am thankful for:)

Things I am thankful for:

Brian and Connor are for sure first! Brian is the best husband ever and really I don't think there is anyone else out there that could put up with me. Couldn't be more thankful for a beautiful son! No one can prepare you for how awesome it is to be a parent. I LOVE being a mom, and Brian loves being a dad:)

I am thankful for Family and for the love that they show us and Connor, well mostly they love Connor I think. Hahaha but we are a packaged deal! We spend so much time with family and we love being with them and grateful that they always love having us around!

I am thankful for the gospel. It truly is the foundation of everything we do, to have the knowledge that we will all live together again is amazing and helps us to have faith to know that everything happens for a reason and to just keep on going and keep on smiling!

I am thankful for my friends and the FUN that they bring into my life! You are all amazing and teach us so much. We love being with all our friends!

Grandma B

As you can see what a sad day for my grandpa! He is doing better now but it's still tough and for sure some lonely nights! I can't even imagine what it would be like to not have the person you love right next to you anymore!

My grandma was the most amazing person I have ever known, I strive to be just like her everyday! She really was everything good and I thank Heavenly Father for leaving such a perfect woman for as long as he did to help all of us learn from her how to be a better person. She loved flowers and had the most beautiful garden both here in SL and in Palm Springs. She knew the names to every flower. She tried to teach us all but no way were we going to remember them all! I look forward to the day when I get to see her again!

When you lose someone you love it makes you appreciate life so much more and makes you realize that yes, our friends are wonderful but our family is what its all about. I am thankful for parents who had me spend so much time with family as a child and to have those fun weekend sleepovers with my grandparents! Yes, playing with friends sounded fun then but now I look back and those weekends will be times I will always cherish!
