As you can see what a sad day for my grandpa! He is doing better now but it's still tough and for sure some lonely nights! I can't even imagine what it would be like to not have the person you love right next to you anymore! My grandma was the most amazing person I have ever known, I strive to be just like her everyday! She really was everything good and I thank Heavenly Father for leaving such a perfect woman for as long as he did to help all of us learn from her how to be a better person. She loved flowers and had the most beautiful garden both here in SL and in Palm Springs. She knew the names to every flower. She tried to teach us all but no way were we going to remember them all! I look forward to the day when I get to see her again!
When you lose someone you love it makes you appreciate life so much more and makes you realize that yes, our friends are wonderful but our family is what its all about. I am thankful for parents who had me spend so much time with family as a child and to have those fun weekend sleepovers with my grandparents! Yes, playing with friends sounded fun then but now I look back and those weekends will be times I will always cherish!
